A folder is not a repository
Shared drives hold contracts, but they cannot answer questions. Which agreements renew next quarter. Which ones cap liability below the contract value. Which counterparties have we signed three different versions with. Answering any of that means opening files one by one.
A real repository turns each document into structured data, so those questions become filters instead of afternoons.
What is stored with every contract
When a file is uploaded, the analyzer extracts the key terms into fields and keeps them alongside the original.
- Parties and contract type
- Effective date, term and renewal type
- Notice deadline and renewal date
- Contract value and payment terms
- Governing law
- Overall risk level and the flagged clauses behind it
Search and filters that match how people ask
The repository filters by counterparty, type, renewal month and risk level, and you can combine them. A finance lead can pull every high-risk agreement renewing in March. A founder can see all contracts with one supplier in a single list. Because the fields come from the document text, the results stay consistent even when file names are not.
Getting a backlog in
Most teams start with a pile of PDFs and Word files. Upload them one at a time, paste text, or on the Team plan import a whole folder in one pass. Scanned-quality noise is not a reason to wait; start with the contracts that matter most and add the rest as you go.
Capacity by plan
Starter covers one user and 100 pages of analysis per month. Team covers up to ten users and 1,000 pages a month with admin, editor and viewer roles. Business covers 5,000 pages a month with unlimited users, multiple workspaces for business units or clients, and an audit log. Yearly billing is half the monthly price.
Exports and control of your data
Summaries and key terms export to CSV on every plan, so your data is never locked into the tool. Business adds data retention controls and deletion on demand. The analyzer highlights what to check in each contract and is not legal advice.
Who benefits first
Operations leads who inherit a shared drive of agreements get the fastest return, because the repository gives them a map of what exists on the first day. Finance can see contract values and payment terms without chasing owners. Founders can answer a diligence question about assignment or change of control by filtering rather than searching email. Legal teams use the same records to prepare for renewals with the risky clauses already highlighted. Because the repository is built from the analysis itself, there is no separate data entry step to maintain, and a record is never out of date with the document behind it. If a counterparty sends an amended version, upload it and the fields update with it.
