The deadline that matters is the notice date
A contract that renews on December 31 with a sixty day notice period must be cancelled by the start of November. The renewal date is not the date to watch. The notice deadline is, and it is usually buried in a termination clause rather than printed on the front page.
How renewal terms are found
The analyzer detects auto-renewal, termination and notice clauses, parses the notice period, and combines it with the effective date and term to calculate the notice deadline and renewal date. The summary card shows renewal type, and a key dates strip shows the dates side by side.
Four alerts per contract
Alerts go out by email at 90, 60, 30 and 7 days before the notice deadline. The early ones leave room to compare alternatives or ask for better pricing. The last one is the safety net. Alerts are included on every plan, and Team adds an obligation calendar and a weekly digest.
See what is coming
In the repository, filter by renewal month to see what is due, then add risk level or counterparty to decide where to act first. A procurement lead can walk into a quarterly meeting with the list of renewals, the price increase language in each, and a redline ready to send.
Renegotiate with the right clause
Renewal time is when leverage exists. Flagged clauses for price increases, liability caps and termination come with suggested redlines and fallback language. Export them to DOCX on Team and Business and attach them to the renewal conversation.
Who it is for
It suits operations, finance and procurement teams who inherit a pile of agreements and need a working renewal calendar without a long implementation. Plans start at 49 USD per month, or 24 USD billed yearly. ContractsAnalyzer extracts dates from the text and is not legal advice, so confirm any critical notice date against the signed document.
A worked example
A services agreement runs for twelve months from March 1, renews automatically for another twelve months, and requires sixty days written notice of non-renewal. The notice deadline is therefore the end of December. ContractsAnalyzer extracts that date, and emails arrive in early October, early November, early December and the last week of December. In October the team requests pricing from two alternatives. In November it asks the current supplier to match. In December it either sends notice or confirms the renewal with the new terms. Without the alerts, the first sign of the renewal would have been an invoice in March. Each alert lists the counterparty, the contract type and the clause that creates the deadline, so the person reading it does not have to open the file to understand why it was sent.
